Deep Impact: With a comet on a collision course for Earth. A decision is made to send a apace ship out to intercept the comet, and ‘seed’ it with nuclear bombs. The explosion splits the comet in two, with the smaller part still heading toward Earth. With a devastating impact looming, it is learned that 1 million Americans will be chosen by lottery to go underground into a network of caves built to survive the impact, and the following sequence of disasters.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull: After a nineteen-year hiatus, Indy returns with the identical label of high venture that marled the primordial Raiders of the Lost. In 1957 the fearless archaeologist-professor runs afoul of Russian snoops (containing a cunning Blanchett), then follows a youthful gentleman (LaBeouf) who bears a letter from an old buddy, now lost in the forests of Peru, that might lead them to the Crystal Skull of Alcator, and the lost city of EI Dorado. Opens with lots of action then falls into an ease of exposition, then revs into high gear for an eye-filling finale. Ford restores the role he created in fine style. After losing his wife to an unsuccessful surgery, Dr. Phibes dies in a car wreck. Or does he? Everyone is baffled as the surgeons who fail to save Mrs. Phibes are all dying. Vincent Price, Joseph Cotten, Peter Jeffrey, and Hugh Griffith fill out the cast. (1971 Horror/Comedy)

Cul-De-Sac: Macabre comedy in regards to 2 injured gangsters who terrorize middle-aged milquetoast and his gorgeous youthful spouse.
