Now, a lot of people rent films at least a few times a month. Typically we will wait for the DVD rentals to hit the stores, rather than going to the theater. Here is a short list of some of most heavily rented DVD’s in Oct. 2008.

In this, the latest adventure, An older Indiana is pitted against post war Soviets. This time, it’s off top the Amazon to search for some South American relics, and the secrets they carry.

THE LAZARUS PROJECT: Ben Garvey, once a bad boy criminal, has turned the corner. With a loving family, and a job that pays the bills, he can’t complain. Then, he gets fired from his job, and he goes back to his old criminality ways. This goes terribly wrong, and he is convicted, and sentenced to die. He is sent to die. Instead, he now finds himself in an insane asylum. He now is in a battle for his sanity, and his soul.

LINEWATCH: Well likes Michael Dixon is a boarder man in New Mexico, and life seems to be good. Eventually, his past is going to threaten his future. He was part of a violent Los Angeles gang that he somehow got away from. When a bad twist of fate exposes his whereabouts to his old gang, he and his family are put in great danger. He is forced risk it all, and make sure that gang leader drake is able to safely get a large supply of drugs into the U.S.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This movie tells the tale of Scientist Dr. Bruce Banner, who has become the Incredible Hulk because of being hit by gamma rays. This film is a story about the marvel comic character the green Hulk. Actors Edward Norton, Tim Roth, William hurt, Liv Tyler play key roles in this film. The director is Louis Leterrier. This movie would be considered a thriller.

DECEPTION: Accountant Jonathan McQuarry has a surprise meeting with hoot shot lawyer Wyatt Bose. This chance meeting is one that will change his life. He is exposed to “The List”, which puts you in front of access to a sexual indulgence. But, he also gets caught up in a world of corruption, treason and murder.

JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH: On a quest to find his missing brother, science professor Trevor Anderson sets out on a journey that sends him into the depths of our planet. This is a remake of the original 1959 movie, which was based on the classic novel by Jules Verne. This movie stars Brendan Fraser and Josh Hutchinson.

THE HAPPENING: Confused and frightened, teacher Elliot Moore, with his wife and many other frightened people are all fleeing Philadelphia on a train. Their city has been thrown into chaos. Citizens are being affected by an unusual force, and are committing suicide. Can we find an answer, or is this the last stand of the human race?

IRON MAN: Playboy, engineer genius, Tony Stark is captured by insurgent fighters in Afghanistan. He is instructed to create weapon systems for the insurgent group. He was wounded while he was being captured, and has metal in his chest. To survive his injuries, and get away from the rebels, he creates a suit made of armor that makes him super strong. Iron Man, a new super hero has arrived.

SPEED RACER: A comic, turned TV anime, gets real actors. Much like the movie The Flinstones, Speed Racer is an animation changed to a movie with an actual cast. Speed Racer who loves racing. His goal is to win The Crucible, a major rally car race that had taken the life of his older brother. With no one expecting him to win, and risking it all, he partners up with his enemy of the past, Racer X, to try to win The Crucible, so the family business won’t go under.
