Sign up for Paypal and get to searching on Ebay for just the dress you want. Then email them and let the haggling begin.

If you can live with the fact that someone has worn the dress before then you may want to consider a used wedding dress. One of the best ways is to visit consignment shops and look at their selection of wedding dresses. You may also find several other items at great prices to complete your wardrobe. When you have tried on everything tell the owner you would really like to buy but feel like there needs to be some additional discounting. Remember you are not going to pay retail for your wedding.

You can always get the dress altered by a good seamstress and it will fit like it was made for you. Of course besides size you want to be sure the dress has no tears or stains and is larger than you are so that it can be altered.

With your savings you can look at upgrading other parts the wedding. Maybe gold jewelry or a beautiful set of gloves or an awesome veil. If you have already gotten these items in the same way as you bought the dress you can look at getting a nice or bigger wedding cake or an even better honeymoon.
