The Best Botox Alternatives
44 viewsBotox is an expensive procedure with some dangerous side effects. But what if there were alternatives out there that are not only safer and cheaper, but better for the health of your skin as well?
It’s a fact of life that as you get older, you become more self conscious about age spots and eye wrinkles. In a sense, it’s similar to adolescence but instead of worrying about acne, you worry about dark eye circles, eye wrinkles and fine lines.
If you do a Google image search of nearly any celebrity, you’ll see how beautiful and young they look. Every now and then you’ll find a interviews of famous actresses in magazines that explain how Botox took years off their face. They carefully don’t mention the number of injuries and deaths that occurred as a result of this dangerous procedure.
I’m not telling you this to scare you but explain the benefits of other products out there. If you shop for the right products with the right ingredients, not only will you save yourself the pain of suffering harmful side effects from a risky procedure, you’ll save money too.
Apply a mask
Masks are a great way to rejuvenate your skin. They’re great for the skin because they help peel away those dead skin cells that take away from that vibrant appearance. Try applying a mask to your face at least once a week and you’ll notice a difference in the color and shine of your skin.
Use a vitamin K cream
Vitamin K is scientifically proven to be an effective blood clotting agent. If there are any areas of your skin that are dark purple or blue that may have some puffiness, vitamin K is a great asset. These areas of skin are much like a bruise, so products that contain vitamin K will eliminate all the excess fluid and color under the skin.
Apply a good concealer
If you find the right concealer you can hide almost anything. Oil of Olay’s Regenerist line of products now includes an enhanced concealer and eye serum in one. In fact, many companies are starting to include concealer in their skin care products because of their popularity. Be sure, as always, that you’re buying fragrance-free products that won’t damage your skin.
For many, Botox is a great way to quickly and easily get rid of eye wrinkles, fine lines and bags under eyes. So if you have that kind of money to spend and don’t care about side effects, then by all means get Botox. But there are a few cheaper, safer alternatives out there so why not give them a try?
